Who are we?

Céad Míle Fáilte is an exciting new project which celebrates our diverse multi-cultural and multi-lingual society. We run language classes and events to introduce An Ghaeilge to our new communities here in Ireland. We work with community and cultural groups across the country to promote inclusion and empowerment through the sharing of our native languages. Our Team

Connlaith Ní Raifeartaigh

Connlaith is the manager of Céad Míle Fáilte and has worked in community development and event management. She is experienced in working on behalf of communities from diverse cultural backgrounds and she has a passion for the protection of indigenous languages and cultures across the world.

Seán Ó Murchadha

Seán is an executive officer with Céad Míle Fáilte. Seán is from Monaghan and was raised with the Irish language at home. Outside of work, Seán is involved in community development through Irish within his community. “Through my work with Conradh na Gaeilge I’ve gotten to know a lot of people from the new Irish community throughout the country and I’m looking forward to making an impact on a range of people with Céad Míle Fáilte - Irish belongs to us all.”
